I’m Lucero, a visual artist and graphic designer from the border cities of El Paso, Texas, and Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua.

I grew up on the border, navigating language barriers and cultural differences on a daily basis which taught me to find connection and understanding in unexpected places, shaping my approach to creating.
 

My work explores memory, observation, and material through art and design. I aim to create visual work that feels accessible and grounded in lived experience, using color, imagery, and storytelling as tools for connection.

​I hold a B.A. in Graphic Design and Advertising from The University of Texas at El Paso. My professional background includes experience as a design director for a local business, where I honed my skills in branding and visual strategy.

With a diverse professional background ranging from print production and portrait photography to design direction, I bring a well-rounded technical perspective to every project I undertake.

Today, I continue to develop personal projects and participate in exhibitions, murals, and collaborative work across disciplines.
