I’m Lucero, a visual artist and graphic designer from the border cities of El Paso, Texas, and Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua.

I grew up on the border, navigating language barriers and cultural differences on a daily basis, which taught me to find connection and understanding in unexpected places. These experiences shaped my approach to creating work, I aim to make work that feels relatable and accessible, inviting people from all backgrounds to engage with it.

I studied Graphic Design and Communication/Advertising at The University of Texas at El Paso.

Today, I work as a freelance graphic designer and artist, after previously serving as a Design Director for a local small business. I continue to develop my own projects and participate in exhibitions, murals, and collaborative creative work that allow me to explore and share my vision across disciplines.
